What You’ll Do…
You will support NIWC Atlantic’s CIO Software Services IPT (S2IPT) as a Business Analyst and Quality Assurance professional focused on enterprise workflow modernization, Agile SDLC support, and operational process improvement across mission-support applications. In this role, you will deliver end-to-end testing services—including manual, automated, regression, and performance testing—while also driving requirements gathering, user story development, backlog management, and stakeholder collaboration. You will ensure system reliability, enhance business workflows, and help translate operational needs into scalable technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities & Expected Outcomes
  • Deliverhighqualitymanual testing execution and documentation.
    Develop and execute manual test scripts and provide clear, detailed test results.
  • Build andmaintainautomated testing solutions.
    Create automated test scripts, perform automated test execution, and produce comprehensive result reports.
  • Strengthen system reliability through regression testing.
    Conduct both manual and automated regression tests and reportconsolidatedfindings to stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper documentation and version control.
    Usegovernmentprovidedversion control systems and repositories to store, track, and manage all test scripts and QA documentation.
  • Enhance system performance visibility.
    Perform performance testing of IPT systems and provide detailed analysis of results.
  • Maintain clear communication and operational monitoring.
  • Provide daily email updates on priornight framework loads,identifyany datagathering errors, and deliver immediate support to resolve issues.
  • Support Agile SDLC activities and business process improvements.
    Collaborate with government stakeholders, developers, and Business Champions to gather requirements, document workflows, create user stories, manage backlogs, support UAT, andassistin sprint coordination.

  • Demonstrates strongproblemsolvingskills with the ability to troubleshoot issues during data loads, test execution, and system updates.
  • Proficiencyin test case development, version control systems, and software development lifecycle tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar).
  • Proficiencyin communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement across technical and nontechnical groups.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Experience:
  • Experience in software testing (manual and/or automated) and/or business analysis within an Agile environment.
  • Experience developing test scripts and documenting results.
Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance (or specify if another level is required).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education:Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • Experience supporting DoD or federal IT programs.
    • Experience with regression and performance testing frameworks.
    • Experience with enterprise workflow orprocessimprovementinitiatives.
    Clearance:Active(within the last twoyears)DoD Secret clearance or higher.
Compensation & Work Environment
  • Salary Range:$75,000- $85,000, dependent on experience.
  • Environment:Hybrid role requiring onsite work in Charleston, SC. Candidates must live within commuting distance.
