Business Analyst- Onsite Tulsa Oklahoma

Principal Duties

1. Adhere to all applicable Bank policies, procedures, and limits of authorization.

2. Support data-related activities including data acquisition, data modeling, metrics definition, dashboard design, and the creation and distribution of various reports.

3. Gather, prioritize, and coordinate data requirements among business stakeholders.

4. Collect, validate, analyze, interpret and evaluate various types of internal and external data using multiple types of data sets and data discovery tools.

5. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness by implementing data quality checks and validation processes to ensure trusted and reliable results.

6. Support the creation of detailed analytical reports in response to business user needs, simplifying complex data into clear insights, to support informed decision-making.

7. Develop and maintain job related reference documents and materials.

8. Exercise discretion and independent judgement in the execution of all assigned duties.

9. Become knowledgeable and stay current with relevant government regulations and industry best practices.

10. Participate in ongoing education opportunities to maintain competencies and learn about industry trends and developments.

11. Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements and Skills

1. Relevant work experience in a professional environment including data acquisition, data integrity, business analytics, and ad-hoc reporting.

2. Proficiency in Excel including formulas, lookup functions, and pivot tables.

3. Basic understanding of relational database structures with at least 1 year of hands-on experience writing queries to extract and organize data.

4. Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to determine accuracy and relevance of information, and the ability to efficiently analyze data.

5. Self-starter with proven troubleshooting and issue resolution skills in data-related tasks.

6. Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively.

7. Ethics in handling sensitive and confidential information.

8. Exceptional time management including attendance.

9. Professional appearance and behavior.

10. Banking experience preferred but not required.

11. Must be bondable.

Essential Functions

1. Exercise discretion and independent judgement in matters of significance as described herein.

2. Attendance within policy guideline is essential. Exceptions to this, for medical or other pre-approved absences, should be documented in an individual’s personnel file.

3. Employee must be able to express oneself and exchange accurate information in person, by phone, by email, and/or electronically.

4. Employee must be able to input, retrieve and assess information from computer and other office machinery.

5. Employee will operate a computer and other standard office communication devices and productivity machinery.

Supervisory Responsibility

No primary responsibility for managing other employees.

Work Environment

Office setting including customer accessible bank branch locations.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required. A college degree in accounting, finance, or a related banking discipline is preferred.

Position Type and Expected Work Hours

This is a non-exempt full-time position. The normal work week is expected to be 40 hours between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Hours may fluctuate due to work load and department staffing needs.
