Position Overview:
The Business Analyst position will play a pivotal role within the Strategy and Growth Team by driving critical strategic initiatives. He / She will engage in a variety of high-impact projects, from digital transformation and cost optimization to market entry and expansion. The role requires executing strategic plans and conducting market and financial analysis to inform key business decisions. The Business Analyst should enable Tamer Group to transform and thrive in a rapidly evolving, competitive, and digital landscape, through identifying strategic opportunities and proposing data-driven solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Data and Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify bottlenecks and develop strategic interventions related to processes, technology, and people. He/ She will support in preparing/analyzing data & financial models to identify trends and insights and assess the viability of strategic projects. This includes creating dashboards and reports to visualize key performance metrics for Leadership.
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Coordinate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and interpret performance data to identify operational inefficiencies and analyze strategic opportunities, ensuring they align with the company's long-term objectives. The candidate will contribute to the development of strategic frameworks and roadmaps to guide key business initiatives.
- Market Research: Conduct market studies, analyze competitor positioning, identify potential disruptions and regular shifts. He / She will support in the preparation of market research reports and presentations on market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and consumer behavior to inform strategic decisions.
- Problem Identification & Solution Design: Proactively identify inefficiencies, pain points, and areas for improvement within business processes. The Business Analyst will leverage data-driven insights to drive operational excellence and innovation and propose strategic solutions.
- Project Management: Assist in managing project timelines and budgets, and create essential project documentation to ensure strategic initiatives stay on track. This involves tracking progress of projects handled by the Strategy & Growth Department against milestones, identifying potential risks, and supporting cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of project goals.
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams and departments to build strong relationships and ensure cohesive project execution. You'll serve as a bridge between technical and business teams, translating business needs into actionable requirements.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Data Science & Analytics, Business Analysis, or Finance, with at least 1–2 years of professional experience. An MBA is a plus.
- Experience within management consultancies or corporate strategy / digital transformation roles.
- MENA or GCC prior experience is essential.
