Business Central Technical Consultant

JD OF BC TECHNICAL CONSULTANT

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Implementation
• Lead end-to-end Business Central implementation projects, from requirement gathering to go-live.
• Analyze business processes and recommend improvements leveraging Business Central capabilities.
• Development & Customization
• Develop extensions, custom reports, and integrations using AL language and Business Central development tools.
• Perform data migration, upgrade, and performance optimization.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
• Support & Maintenance
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Provide user training and create documentation for business processes.
• Leadership & Mentoring
• Guide and mentor junior consultants/developers.
• Contribute to project planning, estimation, and risk management.
• Collaboration & Documentation
• Work closely with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Maintain technical documentation, code repositories, and deployment processes.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV) in implementation and development.
• Proficiency in AL language, Visual Studio Code, and Extensions
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SQL Server, PowerShell, and other technical tools to manage data and integrations.
• Experience with version upgrades and data migration (on-premises & SaaS).
• Familiarity with SQL Server, Power BI, Power Apps and Azure services.
• Experience with GIT/Azure DevOps deployment tools, able to create CI / CD pipelines
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Nice to have knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and dotnet.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹400,000.00 per month
