Business Data Analyst

One of our staffing partners is looking for a Business data analyst with data analyst and some data scientist skills for their Ecommerce client.

Salary $55k-$70k

You will assist in analyzing data, building predictive models, and extracting insights to support decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and preprocess data for analysis
• Develop machine learning models and statistical analyses
• Visualize data and present insights to stakeholders
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Design and implement BI dashboards and reports to track performance metrics.
• Utilize data science techniques to identify trends, correlations, and predictive insights.
• Work with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data processing and analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide insights that enhance business strategies.
• Perform data modeling, cleansing, and transformation to improve data quality.
• Optimize data pipelines and workflows for efficiency in a cloud environment.
• Strong experience in business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Qlik).
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis languages.
• Understanding of data visualization, storytelling, and dashboard development.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team with business and technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and how they apply to business analysis.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills for presenting findings effectively.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• Basic understanding of machine learning and statistical analysis
• Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience working with large datasets and databases
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
