Business Developer - Eastern Province

Our client, a European Multinational Technology Provider, is seeking an accomplished Business Development professional to drive growth in the Eastern Province, with a particular focus on the oil & gas sector. The role will center on building strong relationships within the ARAMCO ecosystem and positioning advanced Data & AI solutions that accelerate digital transformation across upstream and midstream operations.

This position requires a blend of commercial acumen, industry knowledge, and technical understanding, especially around Generative AI and Agentic AI architectures. You will play a pivotal role in guiding engagements from strategic vision through to scaled delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and grow business opportunities in Data, AI, and Analytics, targeting major oil & gas entities in the Eastern Province.
• Lead client engagements across the full lifecycle: defining strategy, building business cases, identifying and shaping use cases, and supporting scaled implementation.
• Demonstrate a proven track record in delivering large-scale Data & AI programs, from initial opportunity development to full production deployment.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, demonstrating strong executive presence and communication skills.
• Act as a trusted advisor on IT/OT convergence challenges, driving Industry 4.0 initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in data, analytics, and AI, with a strong background in business development and pre-sales.
• Deep understanding of the oil & gas sector, particularly upstream and midstream operations.
• Hands-on experience engaging with the ARAMCO ecosystem (as a client, partner, or vendor).
• Strong knowledge of Generative AI, Agentic AI, and related data & analytics platforms (data lakes, lakehouses, etc.).
• Proven ability to bridge IT and OT domains and address the complexities of industrial environments.
• Familiarity with enterprise technologies such as Informatica, SAP, Cloudera, DataRobot, or Dataiku.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to cloud ecosystems (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Understanding of industrial IoT, digital twins, and smart operations.
• Strong ecosystem network across Data & AI platform vendors, hyperscalers, and energy tech partners.
• Experience leading technical programs from proof-of-concept to scaled production rollout.

Ability to represent the company at executive forums, industry events, and client workshops.
