Role Summary

We are hiring a mid-level Business Development Specialist who will own the full BD engine end-to-end.

This role is execution-heavy and requires someone who can independently run outreach on multiple channels, generate consistent pipeline, and turn leads into qualified meetings.

Upwork Business Development (High-Ticket Bidding & Conversion)

You will own the full Upwork process, including:

  • Profile positioning and service packaging
  • Daily bidding on high-quality, high-ticket opportunities
  • Writing customized proposals (no copy-paste)
  • Follow-up management inside Upwork messages
  • Tracking: proposals sent, replies, interviews, conversion rate
  • Weekly reporting to leadership

Upwork must be treated like a deal marketplace, not branding.

2) LinkedIn Outreach (Cold + Warm)

You will run LinkedIn outbound end-to-end:

  • Identify ICPs and decision makers
  • Send targeted connection requests
  • Write short, direct outreach messages
  • Build follow-up sequences (cold → warm → call-ready)
  • Drive conversations into booked calls with leadership

3) Data Scraping + Lead List Building (Apollo / Tools / Manual Research)

You will generate lead lists weekly using tools + manual research, such as:

  • Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clutch, Google Maps, directories
  • Email discovery tools (e.g., Hunter, Apollo data, etc.)
  • Scraping + cleaning lists (remove duplicates, validate info)
  • Segment leads by niche, offer-fit, and urgency

4) Lead Generation System (Cold → Warm → Meeting)

You will manage full outreach flow:

  • Build clean outbound sequences (email + LinkedIn)
  • Follow-ups and reactivation (warm leads)
  • Qualify leads based on pain, budget, urgency, fit
  • Book qualified meetings for leadership
  • Maintain pipeline hygiene and tracking

5) Reporting, CRM, and Weekly Performance Reviews

You will be expected to track and report weekly:

  • New leads generated (by channel)
  • Outreach volume (messages, emails, proposals)
  • Follow-ups completed
  • Response rates and booked calls
  • What messaging and niches are converting best

Required Skills

  • 2–5 years experience in BD / sales development / lead generation
  • Strong Upwork proposal writing + job selection judgment
  • Strong written English (clear, professional, persuasive)
  • LinkedIn outreach experience (cold + warm)
  • Experience with scraping/data extraction and cleaning lead lists
  • Organized CRM mindset (Notion/Sheets/HubSpot/Airtable)

Compensation (Recommended Structure)

Fixed salary + 5% commission

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per month
