Chromeis Ltd. is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Officer (BDO) to support our growth in IT services and cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and supporting revenue growth across our service portfolio, including cloud hosting, VPS, managed services, software development, and digital solutions.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in international markets, with a primary focus on the MENA region.
- Own the full sales cycle, including lead generation (hunting), discovery, proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Manage and grow assigned client accounts to ensure repeat business, upselling, and long-term partnerships.
- Understand client business challenges and propose tailored managed services, software development, and digital solutions.
- Coordinate closely with presales, delivery, and technical teams to ensure accurate scoping and successful deal conversion.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, and commercial agreements.
- Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts, and client data in CRM systems.
- Conduct market and competitor research focused on MENA and other international regions.
- Meet or exceed assigned revenue, pipeline, and account growth targets.
- Represent Chromeis in client meetings, virtual demos, and international business engagements when required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management (IT industry preferred).
- Strong understanding of IT services, cloud solutions, or digital products.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build long-term client relationships and manage multiple opportunities.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Experience selling staff augmentation in IT sector, cloud services, SaaS, or managed IT services.
- Familiarity with B2B sales cycles and enterprise clients, pricing strategies and market positioning.
- Basic understanding of software development and digital transformation services.
- Previous experience in IT, SaaS, or hosting services is highly desirable.
- Excellent negotiation and follow-up abilities
The Business Development Officer will be measured against clearly defined KPIs aligned with international growth objectives:
- New Revenue Generation: Achievement of quarterly and annual revenue targets from international clients.
- Pipeline Value & Coverage: Maintaining a healthy and qualified sales pipeline (e.g., 3x–4x of assigned revenue target).
- New Client Acquisition: Number of new international clients acquired, particularly in the MENA region.
- Deal Conversion Rate: Percentage of qualified leads converted into signed contracts.
- Average Deal Size: Growth in deal value for managed services and software development engagements.
- Account Growth & Retention: Revenue growth from existing accounts through renewals, upselling, and cross-selling.
- Sales Cycle Efficiency: Average time taken from first contact to deal closure.
- CRM & Reporting Accuracy: Timely and accurate updates of opportunities, forecasts, and client interactions in CRM.
- Client Satisfaction: Feedback and repeat business from managed and retained accounts.
