Business Developer / Area Manager – SPAL Products

Experience:
Minimum 5 to 10 years in a Sales and Business Development role
Education:
Bachelor of Engineering; preferably with MBA
Preferable sector:
Commercial Vehicles (including Buses & Trucks) OEM & AM - HVAC system integrator - Bus Body Builders, Bus Fleet Company - Automotive
Responsibilities:

Drive business development and sales of SPAL products across Turkey and neighbouring countries, including (but not limited to) Armenia, Georgia, and Azerbaijan.

Regularly engage with OEMs, AM partners and final customer to stay informed on market trends and opportunities.

Identify new business opportunities through meetings, networking, and public tenders (e.g., City/Intercity Bus projects and similar applications).

Conduct market analysis & competitor intelligence to provide actionable insights and for business growth.

Review periodically the Budget and sales plan/forecast.

Develop, manage & support After Market Distributors for SPAL products. provide after-sales service and technical support.

Engage with the final customer/clients such as: Fleet companies, Maintenance Centres, Service Centres.

Preparing client quotations as per company guidance, Price Negotiations & Settlements with customer.

Meeting KRAs covering profitable sales, new business development and receivables from customers.

Periodically reports on results, market conditions and proposed corrective actions or new strategic initiatives aimed at sales and margin growth.

MIS and weekly updates to top management.
Other Skills/knowledge expected:

Proven ability to lead, influence, and collaborate across teams and customer levels.

Strong expertise in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Key Account Management.

Having good Customer Focus, and ability to build relationships at all levels, Flair for Marketing & good communication skills.

Familiarity with automotive components and systems, including EV, HVAC, and off-highway applications.

Solid technical and domain knowledge; team-oriented, results-driven, and committed to excellence.

Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, CRM platforms) to support decision-making and reporting.
