Role Overview:

Safqah Capital, a CMA-licensed fintech platform, connects real estate developers with investors through innovative and Sharia-compliant financing solutions.

The Business Development role focuses on identifying market opportunities, managing developer relationships, and securing high-quality deals that contribute to the growth of the platform.

The position requires strong commercial insight, strategic thinking, and the ability to convert market signals into actionable opportunities while operating within regulatory and Sharia-compliant frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate new business opportunities within the real estate development ecosystem

• Build, manage, and expand relationships with real estate developers and strategic partners

• Manage the end-to-end developer acquisition cycle, from initial outreach to onboarding and deal qualification

• Provide market insights and support in forming growth strategies and acquisition plans

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (credit, legal, operations, product) to ensure smooth deal progression

• Maintain a structured sales pipeline and deliver regular performance reports

• Represent Safqah Capital in meetings, exhibitions, and industry events

• Ensure all business development activities align with CMA regulations and Sharia-compliant financing guidelines


Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field

• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

• Ability to analyze market trends and understand developer needs

• Strong commercial awareness and ability to prioritize high-value opportunities


Experience:

• Experience in business development, real estate, fintech, or financial services (preferred)

• Prior exposure to deal sourcing, client management, or partnership development

• Experience working in a regulated environment is an advantage


Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in CRM tools and pipeline management systems

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and performance metrics

• Familiarity with financial products and basic understanding of Sharia-compliant financing

• Ability to prepare structured proposals, reports, and business presentations


Regulatory Certifications:

• Familiarity with CMA rules and regulatory processes

• Certifications such as CME-1 or CME-4 are considered a plus
