Job Description
We are seeking a results-driven and relationship-oriented Business Development Manager or Account Manager to join our growing team. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and building long-term customer partnerships within the assigned territory. Candidates may be considered for either Business Development (hunter focus) or Account Management (farmer focus) based on experience and strengths. Language Requirement
- Fluent in both English and Chinese Mandarin (required)
- English must be at a native or near-native professional level
- Must be able to read, type, and speak Chinese fluently
Key Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed sales targets within the assigned territory through strategic prospecting and account development
- Identify, research, and generate new business opportunities through inbound leads, cold outreach, social media, and email campaigns
- Build, qualify, and manage a healthy and accurate sales pipeline
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with resellers, system integrators, distributors, sales reps, and end users
- Collaborate closely with project managers to develop account strategies and drive demand generation initiatives
- Partner with inside sales and technical support teams to ensure high-quality customer service and successful deal execution
- Work with the marketing team to plan and execute targeted campaigns that drive new demand generation
- Prepare quotations and review project proposals in coordination with project managers
- Review and manage business contracts in collaboration with the legal team, including shipping schedules, inventory liability, and product lifecycle (EOL) considerations
- Deliver product training and presentations to partners, distributors, and customers
- Prepare written presentations, reports, and pricing quotations
- Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, product availability, and warranty terms
- Continuously develop product knowledge and sales skills
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments in IPC and related sectors
- Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars, and trade shows
- Travel within the territory.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- 1–3+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management, or Project Management
- Experience in computer hardware or related technical industries preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
Work Location & Flexibility
- Open to local candidates (Southern California – Pomona, CA) for in-office
- Also open to out-of-state (Middle USA) candidates for fully remote (WFH) arrangements
