Our customers include a broad range of Fortune 500 investor-owned utilities, cooperatives and municipal utilities that trust Indji Watch to protect critical infrastructure and keep operators informed when it matters most.

We have recently expanded the Utilities Edition with new wildfire forecasting capabilities and broader coverage for distribution utilities, building on our established strength in transmission.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development & Account Manager to grow subscription revenue across new and existing utility customers in the United States and Canada.

This is a true hybrid role, with a stronger emphasis on winning new business. You will join an experienced team and be directly supported by our senior Utilities Edition Account Manager, who leads commercial activity across the Americas — giving you a strong foundation and mentorship as you build your own pipeline and presence in the market.

Over time, you will have the opportunity to take on broader responsibility across our established customer base as the role develops.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first year, you will have developed a qualified pipeline of utility opportunities, built trusted relationships with key stakeholders, and begun closing new subscription revenue. You will be known by customers as a reliable, knowledgeable commercial contact — someone who understands their operational challenges and connects them to real solutions.

Key Responsibilities

● Develop new business opportunities across the North American utility sector

● Build and grow relationships with utility transmission, distribution, and emergency management stakeholders

● Lead consultative sales engagements that connect Indji Watch capabilities to real operational needs

● Support growth across existing accounts alongside the Americas Sales Manager

● Bring market insight and customer feedback into Indji's go-to-market approach

● Achieve sales and revenue targets

What We're Looking For

Required:

● Exposure to electric utility transmission, distribution, or emergency management operations

● B2B technology or sales experience

● Ability to manage opportunities independently in a remote environment

● Strong communication and commercial skills

Preferred:

● Direct experience in the electric utility sector

● 5+ years of B2B technology or SaaS sales experience

Compensation & Benefits

● Base salary: USD $70,000–$80,000

● On-target earnings: USD $110,000–$115,000

● Quarterly commissions, with stronger reward for new account wins

● Remote-first role with a collaborative international team
