M/s Partners in Development (PID) is a leading engineering consulting firm providing services in infrastructure development, transportation planning, road asset management, and construction management. We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Assistant & the ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in preparing high-quality technical and financial proposals for engineering consultancy projects.

Qualification& Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA), Computer Science a related field.
  • 5–10 years of proven experience as a Business Development/Proposal Writer, preferably in an engineering consultancy or donor-funded projects.
  • Familiarity with government, donor, and multilateral procurement processes (e.g., World Bank, ADB, UN agencies, NHA, C&W, etc.) will be an advantage.
  • Strong technical writing and editing skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), AI tools, and other relevant digital platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Expressions of Interest (EOIs), and related documents to develop compliant and competitive proposal strategies.
  • Draft, edit, and finalize technical and financial proposals in coordination with technical experts, project managers, and senior management.
  • Ensure proposals are tailored to client requirements, technically sound, and aligned with organizational strengths.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to collect relevant technical inputs, CVs, project references, and financial details.
  • Maintain a structured proposal library/database (both electronic and hard copy) including project references, staff CVs, and templates.
  • Track upcoming opportunities, maintain records of submissions, and monitor proposal outcomes for continuous improvement.
