Business Development Assistant

Location: Sharah-e-Faisal, Karachi (Near Nursery)

We are seeking a self-motivated Business Development Assistant professional to support our growing pharmaceutical raw materials business. The ideal candidate will assist in supplier sourcing, client coordination, and compliance-related activities, while gaining hands-on exposure to the pharmaceutical supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Research: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and manufacturers of pharmaceutical raw materials.
  • Supplier Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and timely delivery.
  • Client Coordination: Coordinate with pharmaceutical companies to understand their raw material requirements and technical specifications.
  • Quality & Compliance Support: Ensure supplied materials meet customer quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Documentation Management: Coordinate and maintain documentation related to contracts, shipping and regulatory compliance.
  • Negotiation Support: Assist in negotiating pricing, supply terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Support compliance with industry regulations, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, pricing movements, and regulatory updates within the pharmaceutical industry.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharm-D), Chemistry, Business, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • Fresh to 2 years of relevant experience.

Skills & Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations and quality standards.
  • Good negotiation and coordination abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Basic computer handling and familiarity with order processing tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
