Business Development Associate
**Greater Sacramento Area**

Renewal Claim Solutions of Northern California is seeking a Business Development Associate to maintain and grow our referral network. We support residential and commercial property owners after fire, smoke, water, or contamination events, specializing in restoring textiles, soft goods, and electronics to pre-loss condition.

As a Business Development Associate, you will strengthen existing relationships and prospect for new clients. You’ll collaborate closely with our team, receiving full training and guidance. Daily responsibilities include inside prospecting, scheduling meetings, attending industry events, entertaining clients, visiting current and prospective client offices, and maintaining your CRM. This role involves daily travel throughout your region, providing a dynamic and varied work environment that fosters personal growth.

Role Overview
This role combines relationship management, sales outreach, and early-stage project coordination. You will:

  • Keep referral partners engaged, informed, and confident in our service.
  • Capture accurate job details and set clear expectations with customers.
  • Travel daily within your region to meet partners, strengthen relationships, and support new job starts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily travel to meet with current and prospective referral partners.
  • Act as an account manager to maintain partner satisfaction and encourage repeat referrals.
  • Conduct regular office visits, check-ins, and follow-ups.
  • Prospect for new referral sources and job opportunities.
  • Gather complete customer and job details during initial visits.
  • Set appropriate expectations and timelines for property owners.
  • Log and update all information in the CRM.
  • Attend industry events, meetings, and networking opportunities.

Team & Environment
You’ll work closely with the Business Development Director and the operations team. Renewal is a well-established and trusted service provider in Northern California. We maintain a supportive, organized, and professional work environment.

Who We’re Looking For
Experience in sales, business development, account management, restoration, or construction management is helpful but not required. The ideal candidate:

  • Builds trust and communicates professionally.
  • Is detail-oriented and comfortable gathering accurate job information.
  • Works well with referral partners and homeowners under stress.
  • Is reliable, organized, and consistent with follow-up.
  • Manages relationships and keeps partners informed.
  • Is motivated to grow the business through proactive outreach and strong service.

Compensation
Starting compensation is based on experience and includes base pay, commission, bonus, and full benefits. First-year salary is projected at $70,000–$80,000+ commission. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, paid holidays, company phone, and a company vehicle.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
