Overview
We are seeking a driven and personable Business Development Associate to serve as the primary link between our pain management clinic and the local medical community. In this role, you will be the face of our practice, visiting physician offices to build lasting referral partnerships and ensure that our clinic remains at the forefront of medical innovation through strategic industry networking.
Key Responsibilities:
Physician Outreach & Referral Management:
- Conduct weekly outreach to 3–4 primary care offices, orthopedic clinics, and other specialty providers.
- Educate healthcare providers on our clinic’s specialized pain management services and the specific benefits we provide to their referred patients.
- Develop and maintain a consistent "rounds" schedule to nurture long-term relationships with office managers and referring physicians.
Networking & Field Marketing:
- Coordinate and facilitate "Lunch and Learn" sessions to present our clinical capabilities in a professional, engaging setting.
- Distribute up-to-date marketing collateral, brochures, and referral flyers to partner clinics.
- Represent the clinic at local medical networking events and community health fairs.
Industry Partnership Development:
- Act as the point of contact for medical device and pharmaceutical representatives.
- Collaborate with industry partners to stay informed on the latest medical tools, interventional technologies, and pharmacological advancements.
- Ensure the clinic’s medical staff is aware of new opportunities for training or upgraded equipment through these partnerships.
Reporting & Strategy:
- Track and report on weekly outreach activities and referral trends.
- Identify "high-potential" offices and develop tailored strategies to secure their partnership.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in medical sales, healthcare marketing, or business development is preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to speak confidently to medical professionals and administrative staff.
- Self-Management: Highly organized and capable of managing a field-based schedule with minimal daily supervision.
- Reliability: Must have a professional appearance and reliable transportation for visiting multiple clinics per week.
- Knowledge: A basic understanding of pain management terminology and the healthcare referral process is a plus.

Pay: $38,000.00 - $59,000.00 per year
