Balanced Environments, Inc., a leading area landscape and snow removal contractor, seeks a motivated individual to fill our Bid-Build Business Developer position in the Plainfield area office.

Responsibilities
- Secure new clients for large construction projects. Call on prospective clients and develop market share for BE.
- Secure new clients for landscape maintenance from completed bid build projects, Secured contracts would be handed off to BE Account Representatives to manage.
- Maintain client relationships and develop new clients through networking and sales of new services.
- Prepare and present site recommendations, formal estimates and quotes for clients.
- Address clients' questions and concerns, as needed.
- Assist Sales Team at trade shows, marketing and networking events as needed.
- Identify and seek out opportunities for growth within the bid build market, contributing to overall business development.
- Attend weekly sales and production meetings.
- Work with Bid Build Team to review ITBs, scope, and plans for bid/build projects and assist estimators in the preparation and pricing of an accurate estimate for review.
- Present clients with bid proposals and perform regular follow-ups and updates on bid work.
- Assist the team with obtaining submittals and documentation needed for job setup.
- Develop and establish subcontractor relationships for estimating and joint projects.
- Participate in pre-construction and ongoing production meetings with clients and client production teams to ensure project goals are being met.
- Communicate and collaborate with supervisors to ensure smooth execution of projects.
- Estimate, present, and obtain signed change orders for sold projects.
- Perform any other tasks and responsibilities outlined in the position description above and any addendum, or added by the Bid Build Director.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
