We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Center Manager to lead our Edison location — someone who thrives in a fast-paced educational environment, values innovation, and is committed to providing exceptional service to students, parents, and teachers.
Position Summary
The Center Manager will oversee all daily operations of the PALS Edison Center, ensuring smooth functioning across academics, administration, sales, and customer experience. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage teams, build relationships with parents, support teachers, and drive enrollment growth through strong communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Administrative Leadership
- Oversee daily center operations including scheduling, class management, and student progress tracking.
- Supervise front-desk and administrative staff, ensuring accuracy in attendance, billing, and communications.
- Coordinate with the leadership team to implement PALS policies, processes, and performance standards.
- Manage inventory, supplies, and facility upkeep to maintain a professional and welcoming environment.
Parent & Student Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for parents — addressing inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Conduct regular check-ins with families regarding student progress and satisfaction.
- Maintain a nurturing and solution-oriented approach to conflict management and resolution.
Teacher & Staff Coordination
- Collaborate closely with teachers to ensure instructional quality and consistency across classes.
- Manage teacher schedules, class assignments, and performance feedback.
- Support in hiring, onboarding, and training of new staff members.
Sales & Enrollment Growth
- Handle incoming leads from phone calls, walk-ins, and digital sources with a focus on conversion.
- Conduct consultations with prospective parents, explain programs, and recommend appropriate courses.
- Track and report lead metrics, enrollment trends, and retention rates to the leadership team.
- Identify local outreach opportunities and support marketing initiatives to drive growth.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Recommend and implement new ideas to improve operations, engagement, and efficiency.
- Stay updated with education trends, parent expectations, and best practices in student learning and customer experience.
- Collaborate with the leadership team on special programs, open houses, and community events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Education, Business, or more in the related field preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in education management, tutoring center operations, or similar setting.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage teachers, parents, and students effectively.
- Proven track record in sales, customer service, and operational management.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM/LMS tools.

Work Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time: 40 hours per week (weekday afternoons/evenings + one weekend day preferred)
