We are looking for a Business Development Director / Growth Markets in Çalık Enerji Headquarters located in Istanbul.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, or relevant discipline,
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in sales, marketing, or similar commercial leadership roles in EPC, OEM, energy or similar other industrial sectors,
  • Strong understanding of financing, EPC-F, tender, international competition and contracting practices,
  • Achievement oriented and flexible, result driven, ability to create winning scenarios, execute and deliver,
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; proficiency in additional languages is an asset,
  • Strong analytical, effective communication, complex stakeholder management and leadership skills,
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with digital collaboration tools,
  • Self-motivated, proactive, organized, able to work and deliver results under pressure,.business acumen,
  • International culture with no travel restriction.


Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives to develop qualified leads and target projects across Growth Markets, including MENA, SSA and CIS as EPC, EPC-F and investor,
  • Properly manage and expand business development teams, duly coordinate critical proposal and contracting activities by sharing insights and intelligence by defining and eliminating risks,
  • Drive business development, sales and strategic partnerships to expand Power, Oil&Gas and Infrastructure market presence,
  • Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with corporate objectives, pipeline management by securing profitable, executable and timely orders,
  • Monitor client and partner requests, identifying suitable project opportunities,
  • Provide market intelligence and actionable insights for executive decision-making,
  • Participate in digital and service project development with strategic partners.
