Job Title: Business Development Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Business Development Engineer to drive business growth within Qatar's Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, Marine, and Industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong network within Qatar's energy industry and a proven track record of securing new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, Marine, and Industrial sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers within Qatar Energy, Qatar Energy LNG, EPC contractors, and industrial clients.
- Develop OEM partnerships and promote engineering solutions to increase market share in Qatar.
- Lead commercial negotiations, contract finalization, and business closure activities.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and monitor upcoming projects, tenders, and procurement opportunities.
- Review RFQs, ITTs, and tender documents and prepare techno-commercial proposals.
- Coordinate with principals, manufacturers, and internal teams to ensure technical and commercial compliance.
- Attend client meetings, technical discussions, pre-bid meetings, and commercial negotiations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and project developments.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and business growth objectives.
- Prepare periodic sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market intelligence updates.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Process Engineering preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of Business Development or Sales experience within the Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, Marine, or Industrial sectors in Qatar or the GCC region.
- Demonstrated business relationships and access to decision-makers within Qatar Energy, Qatar Energy LNG, major EPC contractors, or operating companies.
- Strong understanding of Qatar's energy sector, EPC market, procurement processes, and key industry stakeholders.
- Proven track record in business development, client acquisition, and revenue generation.
- Experience in tendering, contract negotiations, and project-based sales environments.
- Valid Qatar Driving License is preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Age between 30 and 45 years.
- Candidates currently based in Qatar are highly preferred.
- Ex-Qatar or GCC-experienced candidates with a strong regional network will also be considered.
- Immediate or short-notice joiners will be an advantage.
Pay: QAR12,000.00 - QAR15,000.00 per month
