Job Description: Business Development Executive

Role Overview

The Business Development Executive (BDE) will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding the firm’s client base. The role requires a blend of legal understanding, marketing acumen, and client relationship management skills to support the growth of the firm’s legal and allied services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition & Lead Generation
  • Identify potential clients in the corporate, startup, and individual sectors.
  • Generate and manage leads through professional networks, digital platforms, and outreach campaigns.
  • Approach potential clients, understand their requirements, and propose suitable legal solutions.
  • Business Strategy & Development
  • Assist in developing and executing business growth strategies aligned with the firm’s objectives.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities in legal and compliance sectors.
  • Support the management team in creating pricing strategies, service proposals, and presentations.
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and satisfaction.
  • Act as a point of contact between clients and the firm’s legal teams for smooth coordination and communication.
  • Schedule meetings, follow-ups, and regular feedback sessions with clients.
  • Marketing & Branding
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and digital campaigns.
  • Represent the firm in legal and business networking events, seminars, and webinars.
  • Promote firm services through social media, professional platforms, and email campaigns.
  • Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities, leads generated, and conversion rates.
  • Track performance metrics and suggest areas for improvement in outreach strategies.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or Marketing (MBA preferred but not mandatory).
  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, client acquisition, or sales (experience in legal, consulting, or service-based industries preferred).
  • Strong understanding of legal service domains such as contract management, registration services, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build professional relationships and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, LinkedIn, CRM tools, and online outreach platforms.
