Position Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Business Development Executive to manage all consultant/vendor registrations, product listings, technical documentation, and client relationship coordination for our MEP product portfolio.
The ideal candidate will work closely with consultants, contractors, and key clients to ensure our products are approved, listed, and preferred for upcoming projects. This role is heavily client-facing and requires excellent communication, technical understanding, and relationship-building abilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Consultant & Contractor Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, procurement teams, and key accounts.
- Schedule meetings, product presentations, and follow-ups to introduce and promote company products.
- Ensure our brands are specified and recommended in project designs and material approvals.
- Gather market feedback, upcoming project information, and competitor insights from client visits.
2. Product Listings & Prequalification
- Manage company and product registrations with major consultants, contractors, developers, and government procurement portals.
- Prepare and submit prequalification documents, company profiles, technical presentations, and capability statements.
- Ensure products appear in approved vendor lists, material schedules, and consultant systems.
- Maintain an updated database of all active and pending listings.
3. Technical Documentation & Submittals
- Prepare and update:
- Material submittals
- Technical datasheets
- Test reports
- Certificates & compliance documents
- Product brochures and catalogues
- Coordinate with manufacturers to obtain the latest product information.
- Support the sales team with proper documentation for RFQs, tenders, and project submissions.
4. Certifications & Compliance
- Handle product compliance requirements:
- UL, FM, WRAS, ASTM, ISO
- ESMA / SASO / DCL approvals
- Factory test reports & quality documentation
- Maintain accurate technical files for all product lines.
- Ensure all documents remain updated and compliant with UAE market standards.
5. Internal Coordination
- Work closely with the sales team to support client meetings, presentations, and strategic product positioning.
- Collaborate with marketing for preparing presentations, product sheets, and branding materials.
- Assist management with tracking listing progress and market penetration.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years experience in product approvals, client coordination, or technical documentation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for dealing with consultants and clients.
- Strong organizational ability to manage multiple submissions and relationships.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- UAE Driver's license Mandatory.
- Professional, confident, and proactive attitude.
Preferred Skills
- Experience coordinating with consultants & contractors in the UAE.
- Understanding of technical submittals for MEP projects.
- Knowledge of building product certifications and compliance processes.
- Ability to read basic technical drawings or specifications.
