  • Key Responsibilities
  • Handle customer enquiries, assess technical feasibility, and prepare accurate commercial quotations

Commercial & Operations Alignment

  • Prepare costings considering material, processing, overheads, and margins
  • Coordinate with production and procurement on capacity, material availability, and lead times
  • Monitor variance between quoted and actual production costs and implement corrective actions
  • Support process standardization, efficiency improvement, and wastage reduction

Reporting & Analysis

  • Track enquiries, conversion rates, order book, and revenue performance
  • Analyze cost variances and recommend process improvements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 0–3 years’ experience in manufacturing sales/business development (metal/steel preferred)
  • Understanding of production processes and costing

Skills

  • Strong Excel and ERP knowledge
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
  • Hindi and Tamil knowledge is a plus

Working Conditions

  • Office-based with regular shop-floor and occasional customer visits
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules
  • Maintain CRM records and track enquiry-to-order conversion
  • Develop new customers and identify market opportunities

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
