We are looking for a dynamic Business Development professional with 0–3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical ingredients sector, and a strong understanding of African markets, supply chains, and regulatory frameworks. The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients and partners across Africa, with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and drive new business opportunities in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic ingredients space. Responsibilities include market research, developing sales strategies, managing key accounts, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless execution. Candidates with existing networks in Africa and those based in Dubai or willing to relocate will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the African pharmaceutical/ cosmetic ingredients market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, manufacturers, and healthcare/cosmetics institutions across Africa.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients and partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (production, logistics, regulatory) to ensure smooth order execution.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cosmetics, Chemistry, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 0–3 years of experience in business development or sales within the pharmaceutical/chemical ingredients sector.
  • Strong knowledge of African pharmaceutical supply chains and regulatory frameworks.
