We are looking for a motivated Business Development Executive (BDE) with strong experience in Upwork bidding and client acquisition. The ideal candidate should be skilled in identifying business opportunities, crafting winning proposals, and converting leads into long-term clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow the company’s Upwork profile
- Identify relevant projects on Upwork and submit high-quality proposals
- Understand client requirements and coordinate with the technical/operations team
- Handle client communication, negotiations, and follow-ups
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Achieve monthly and quarterly lead generation & conversion targets
- Maintain accurate records of bids, leads, and client interactions
- Stay updated with Upwork trends, algorithms, and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of proven experience as a BDE or Online Bidder
- Strong hands-on experience with Upwork (mandatory)
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Experience in proposal writing, bidding strategies, and client conversion
- Ability to understand technical/services-based requirements
- Good negotiation and closing skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and result-oriented mindset
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in IT / Digital Services / Software / Marketing industry
- Knowledge of other platforms like Freelancer, Fiverr, or LinkedIn (added advantage)
- Basic understanding of CRM tools
