Job description

Business Development Executive will be responsible for acquiring and managing gyms, fitness centres and sports clubs in New Delhi to drive placement and sales of FMCG products, with clear visit targets and monthly revenue goals.

Role overview

  • Designation: Business Development Executive FMCG (Gyms & Sports Channel)
  • Location: New Delhi (field role with daily market visits in assigned territory).
  • Segment: Gyms, fitness centres, sports academies, sports clubs and premium fitness retailers.
  • Reporting to: Founder.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and onboard new gyms, fitness centres and sports clubs in allocated New Delhi micro-territories to achieve numeric and weighted distribution targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with gym owners, managers, trainers and purchasing decision-makers to ensure product visibility, repeat orders and long-term partnerships.
  • Plan and execute daily market visits for: new outlet acquisition, repeat order booking, merchandising and in-club activation.
  • Negotiate product listing, shelf/display space, visibility (standees, danglers, counters) and commercial terms within company guidelines.
  • Execute promotions, sampling activities and athlete/member engagement events inside gyms and clubs to drive trials and repeat consumption of the FMCG products.
  • Monitor stock levels, ensure timely replenishment, coordinate with distributors/logistics for smooth deliveries and resolve in-market service issues.
  • Track competitor presence, pricing, schemes and activations in gyms/fitness centres and share structured feedback with management regularly.
  • Maintain updated outlet master list, contact details and visit/order history in CRM or reporting formats as prescribed by the company.
  • Achieve monthly sales, collection and productivity KPIs (calls/day, new outlets added, active outlets, average billing per outlet, etc.).

Candidate profile

  • Education: Minimum graduate in any discipline; preference for candidates with sales/marketing background.
  • Experience:
  • 1–3 years of field sales or business development experience in FMCG / beverages / nutrition / sports or related categories.
  • Prior experience handling gyms, fitness centres, sports nutrition stores or modern trade/GT in Delhi NCR is strongly preferred.
  • Skills and attributes:
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation and closing skills with B2B customers.
  • Good communication in Hindi and basic English; comfortable with WhatsApp, Excel/Google Sheets and CRM apps for reporting.
  • Highly energetic, target-oriented, comfortable with extensive field work and working independently in the market.

Working conditions & compensation

  • Working days: 6 days per week, with peak activity around gym operating hours and events.
  • Must have own two-wheeler with valid driving licence; fuel allowance as per company policy.
  • Fixed CTC plus performance-based incentives linked to sales and outlet targets.
  • Additional benefits: Local travel reimbursement, mobile allowance and performance rewards as per company norms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹11,727.42 - ₹40,427.90 per month
