Business Development Executive (HR Compliance & Payroll)

Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive to expand our client base in the HR compliance and payroll sector. The ideal candidate will identify growth opportunities, pitch our PF/ESI and statutory audit services, and build long-term relationships with SMEs and large corporations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify and generate new corporate leads through market research, networking, referrals, LinkedIn outreach, and cold calling.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.

2. Client Meetings & Presentations

  • Schedule and conduct client meetings and site visits to understand business requirements.
  • Deliver customized presentations and explain service offerings related to PF, ESI, and statutory compliance.
  • Build and maintain long-term professional relationships with decision-makers.

3. Proposal & Contract Management

  • Prepare and present customized business proposals and service agreements.
  • Negotiate commercial terms to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Follow up consistently to close deals within defined timelines.

4. Market & Regulatory Awareness

  • Stay updated with amendments under the EPF Act, ESI Act, Labour Codes, and other statutory regulations.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify growth opportunities.

5. Sales Tracking & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, and conversions in CRM systems.
  • Provide regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and revenue forecasts to management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, HR, or related field.
  • 1–4 years of experience in business development, preferably in HR services, payroll, or statutory compliance domain.

Preferred Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong understanding of the Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952, Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948, and Indian Labour Codes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
  • Target-driven mindset with a proactive approach.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • New Client Acquisition: Number of new corporate accounts onboarded per month.
  • Lead Conversion Rate: Percentage of qualified leads converted into paying clients.
  • Revenue Achievement: Monthly and quarterly revenue generated from new contracts.
  • Pipeline Management: Accuracy and consistency in CRM reporting and sales forecasting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
