Business Development Executive (IT Services – Outbound & Inbound)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive with 3+ years of experience in IT services sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating qualified leads, managing client relationships, and driving revenue through both outbound and inbound strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and qualify leads through cold emailing, LinkedIn outreach, and direct prospecting
  • Manage and convert inbound enquiries into business opportunities
  • Identify new sales opportunities across web, mobile, and custom software services
  • Prepare proposals, conduct discovery calls, and close deals independently
  • Coordinate with internal technical teams on project scope, timelines, and cost estimation
  • Maintain CRM records and track pipeline performance, conversion rates, and KPIs
  • Continuously optimise outreach strategies and lead generation processes


Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Business Development / IT Sales / Lead Generation
  • Proven experience in outbound lead generation (cold email, LinkedIn, direct outreach)
  • Strong track record of client acquisition and deal closing
  • Experience handling end-to-end sales cycle (lead → proposal → negotiation → closure)
  • Excellent proposal writing, email communication, and negotiation skills
  • Solid understanding of software development services, web technologies, and digital solutions
  • Ability to meet sales targets, deadlines, and performance KPIs
  • Strong organisational, time-management, and client-handling skills


Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Experience working with international clients (UK, US, EU)
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, or similar)
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn outreach, cold emailing strategies, and sales funnels
  • Previous experience in a software house or digital agency


Important Note

This role requires proven experience in generating leads beyond freelancing platforms. Candidates relying solely on Upwork/Fiverr bidding will not be considered.
