Job Overview
The BDE will be responsible for generating new business, nurturing leads, and building relationships with both residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in B2B/B2C sales, is confident in cold outreach, and understands service-based sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach homeowners, tenants, estate agents, landlords, and businesses needing moving services.
- Drive lead generation through cold calling, networking, events, and email outreach.
- Respond to inbound inquiries and convert them into confirmed bookings.
- Build partnerships with property agents, relocation companies, and commercial clients.
- Work with the marketing team to support email and social media campaigns.
- Keep sales data up to date using CRM software and report on progress.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of proven success in business development, sales, or client acquisition (service industry experience strongly preferred).
- Strong ability to generate leads via cold calling, networking, and email marketing.
- Excellent English communication and negotiation skills (written & verbal).
- Knowledge of UK market trends and ability to connect with local businesses & customers.
- Familiarity with CRM and sales automation tools (HubSpot, Zoho, or similar).
- Target-driven, proactive, and confident in closing deals.
