We are hiring a Business Development Executive to sell advertising solutions to real estate agencies across Qatar in a structured, performance-driven sales role.
This role involves selling to experienced sales professionals — agency owners, brokers, and sales managers — and requires confidence, commercial discipline, and the ability to handle negotiation and pushback professionally. This is not a casual or “activity-based” sales role.
Property Oryx operates a fair and transparent business model. Targets are clear, commission is earned on closed, secured business, and strong performance is rewarded consistently. If you are a capable salesperson who values structure, follow-through, and being paid properly for results, this role offers a solid platform to perform.
This is a structured, process-led sales role. Accounts are assigned, priorities are defined, and you will be supported by an Account Manager and Admin team so you can focus on selling and closing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact real estate agencies and developers to introduce Property Oryx and its advertising packages
- Engage with decision-makers such as Owners, CEOs, Brokers, and Marketing Managers
- Confidently present and explain our platform, including Sponsored Listings and our differentiated business model
- Handle objections, negotiation, and commercial discussions professionally
- Work assigned accounts and prospects in priority order, while sourcing additional opportunities where appropriate
- Conduct sales calls, WhatsApp communication, face-to-face meetings, and occasional drop-in visits
- Follow the company’s sales process and daily priorities without deviation
- Provide clear sales updates after meetings and calls (voice notes are acceptable)
- Collaborate closely with the Account Manager on offers, pricing, and campaign structure
- Maintain consistent follow-up to move opportunities through to closure
Performance & Targets
- This is a target-driven role
- Monthly sales targets apply, including during probation
- Commission is earned on closed sales, with performance measured on secured or paid business
- Success depends on focus, follow-up, and conversion quality — not volume of activity alone
Location, Mobility & Working Hours
- Working hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm, Sunday to Thursday
- You are expected to be in the office when not attending client meetings
- Daily punctual attendance at the office is required
- Regular client meetings and field visits form part of the role
- A valid Qatari driving licence and access to a reliable car are required
- Primary work location: New Salata, C-Ring Road, Doha
Salary & Benefits
- Base salary: QAR 5,000 per month
- Commission: 10% on closed sales above target
- Strong performers can earn significantly more than base salary
- 3-month probation period
- Employment under a Qatari Ministry of Labour contract
- Paid annual leave: 4 weeks
- Economy return ticket to home country once every 2 years (subject to eligibility)
- Salary paid on time at the end of each month
Requirements (Mandatory)
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Legally able to work in Qatar (QID / valid work visa)
- Valid Qatari driving licence and access to a car
- Comfortable selling in a structured, process-led environment
- Confident handling objections and negotiations with experienced salespeople
- Comfortable with targets, accountability, and daily visibility
- Professional, punctual, reliable, and organised
- Willingness to work primarily from the office
Strong Advantages
- Arabic language skills
- Experience working with or selling to real estate agencies in Qatar
- Existing relationships within the Qatar real estate market
- Experience selling marketing, advertising, or subscription-based products
