Business Development Executive – Upwork Specialist

Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive with hands-on experience in bidding on Upwork. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating business through the Upwork platform by identifying relevant projects, writing compelling proposals, and converting leads into long-term clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Search for relevant projects on Upwork based on company services
  • Write customized, high-quality proposals to clients
  • Communicate with clients effectively to understand requirements
  • Negotiate project terms and close deals
  • Maintain a pipeline of potential clients and follow-ups
  • Coordinate with internal teams (design, development, etc.) for project execution
  • Achieve monthly sales and conversion targets

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Upwork bidding and lead generation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand client requirements and craft tailored proposals
  • Basic knowledge of IT services (web development, design, etc.) is a plus
  • Self-motivated and target-oriented

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in handling international clients
  • Knowledge of freelancing platforms and market trends
  • CRM or lead tracking experience
