Business Development - Financial Services / Payments / Remittance Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in Payments, Fintech, or Financial Services industries.
- Proven expertise in cross-border payments and remittance solutions.
- Experience selling to enterprise-grade clients (banks, PSPs, MTOs, or fintechs).
- Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication in English and Arabic (preferred).
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar).
About the Role
We are seeking a Business Development Manager (or Senior Manager) to lead client acquisition and partnership initiatives across the financial services sector, focusing on cross-border payments and remittance solutions.
The ideal candidate will be based in Saudi Arabia and preferably from an Arabic speaking country, with a proven track record in B2B enterprise sales within banking or fintech environments.
This is a hands on, target driven role for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about driving growth and establishing strategic relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business opportunities and manage a strong sales pipeline across the region.
- Lead the end to end sales cycle, from prospecting to contract closure.
- Build and nurture relationships with banks, fintechs, money transfer operators, and PSPs.
- Collaborate cross-functional with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure successful onboarding and delivery.
- Attend tradeshows, engage in lead generation, and maintain accurate reporting in CRM systems.
- Provide market insights and contribute to regional business strategy refinement.
