About the Role

Join our exciting and quickly growing company as a Business Development & Sales Analytics Intern in our Bhilai office. We specialize in providing essential B2B services to retailers across the USA, meaning you will gain deep exposure to the US retail sector and global commerce.

This position is ideal for a recent college graduate who is passionate about leveraging data to drive growth. Your research and analytical output will be directly utilized by our Marketing and Sales Analytics teams to generate future revenue and identify growth opportunities.

You will be at the forefront of our data mining and lead generation efforts. Please note: This is strictly a research and analytics role; it does not involve outbound calling or cold calling.

This role requires a high degree of self-motivation, strong analytical skills, interest in business strategy, developed English communication skills, and the flexibility to align with US business hours. Exceptional performers in this internship will be considered for a full-time position upon successful completion.

Key Responsibilities1. Data-Driven Lead Generation & Market Research

  • Targeted Lead Identification: Proactively find and generate high-quality leads based on specific campaign requirements and targeted industries (with a focus on the US retail sector and supporting B2B verticals).
  • Data Sourcing: Utilize various online resources, including Google Search, Google Maps, keyword searches, and industry-specific databases, to gather comprehensive and accurate prospect data.
  • Strategic Impact: Ensure the collected data is clean and organized, directly supporting our Marketing & Sales Analytics teams' goals for revenue generation and market expansion.
  • Focus: This role is focused on list building, research, and data identification. Outbound calling or cold calling is NOT a function of this role.

2. Data Management & CRM Utilization

  • Data Hygiene: Apply basic Excel functions for data entry, manipulation, and cleaning to ensure the integrity and accuracy of lead lists.
  • CRM Support: Assist with entering and managing lead information within our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms. Experience or familiarity with platforms like Instantly, ZOHO, or Apollo is a significant advantage.

3. Marketing & Content Assistance

  • Campaign Support: Provide direct support to the marketing team for various lead generation initiatives.
  • Content Understanding: A good understanding of basic content writing principles to assist in framing effective outreach materials or understanding campaign needs is an added benefit.

4. Learning & Market Understanding

  • Show a strong motivation and eagerness to learn about the US retail market trends, customer behavior, and the competitive landscape to inform effective business development strategies.

Qualifications & SkillsAcademic & Professional Skills

  • A recent college graduate (or up to 1 year of experience) with a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or similar field requiring strong research and analytical Skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in data-driven marketing, business development, and sales analytics.

Essential Requirements

  • Exceptional English Proficiency: Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills in English to collaborate effectively with global teams and handle business correspondence.
  • Working Hours Flexibility: The candidate must be willing to work late into the evening occasionally (past 9:00 PM IST) to overlap and have meetings with our team located in the USA.

Preferred Requirements (Candidates with these skills will be prioritized)

  • Data Scraping: Demonstrable skills in data scraping or experience utilizing data scraping tools for large-scale data collection.
  • Domain Interest: Prior experience or a genuine interest in a marketing, sales, SEO, or content generation focused role.
  • Industry Interest: Excited to learn more about the trends shaping global commerce and retail, particularly in the USA
  • Data Comfort: Comfort working with large datasets ("big data") and proficiency in utilizing tools like Advanced Excel, Zoho CRM, and general Google and Microsoft Office software.
