Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Intern to join our team. This role focuses on bidding for projects, managing company profiles, and generating leads to secure new opportunities in software development. The internship offers hands-on experience in a dynamic environment and is ideal for freshers eager to build a career in business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and bid on relevant projects across freelance platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, and others.
• Craft compelling, customized proposals and cover letters tailored to client requirements in web, AI, and mobile app development.
• Manage and optimize company freelance profiles, including updating portfolios, responding to reviews, and maintaining high visibility.
• Perform market research to analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs in the software development space.
• Track bidding performance, win rates, and lead conversion metrics using analytical tools; prepare reports and insights to refine strategies.
• Collaborate with the technical team to ensure proposals accurately reflect our expertise in web, AI, and mobile app development.
• Handle client communications during the bidding and initial engagement phases, including follow-ups and negotiations.
• Assist in building and maintaining a pipeline of prospects to support long-term business growth.

Requirements

• High energy, proactive mindset, and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Pursuing or completing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field (freshers are strongly encouraged to apply; any prior internships or freelance experience is a plus).
• Basic technical knowledge of web development (e.g., HTML/CSS, JavaScript, frameworks like React/Node.js), AI/ML concepts, and mobile app development (e.g., iOS/Android, Flutter/React Native).
• Familiarity with freelance platforms (e.g., Upwork bidding processes, profile optimization, and best practices).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to write persuasive proposals.
• Strong analytical skills for market research, data interpretation, and performance tracking (proficiency in tools like Google Sheets, Excel, or CRM software is a plus).
• Ability to follow instructions precisely while working independently in a fast-paced remote or hybrid environment.
• Availability for a full-time internship
