Join MAPEI Corporation, a global leader in manufacturing construction chemicals and building materials — including adhesives, sealants, and specialty products used in flooring, tile, and concrete restoration. We are currently seeking a Business Development Leader – Concrete Flooring Solutions (CFS) to join our team. In this high-impact role, you will drive profitable growth across the U.S. by identifying key opportunities, strengthening relationships with contractors, design professionals, and major stakeholders, and leading the expansion of our CFS product line. You will partner closely with Sales, PLM, R&D, Marketing, and Technical Services to introduce innovative solutions, educate the market, and accelerate market share in industrial and commercial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement strategic sales plans aligned with the National Sales Director – CRS to support corporate growth goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitive trends, and technology opportunities across channels.
  • Deliver impactful presentations and product demonstrations to key clients and prospective customers, partnering with Sales Representatives to support the full sales cycle.
  • Serve as the primary CFS point of contact for the CRS Sales team across all project-related needs.
  • Lead development and launch of CFS products in collaboration with PLM and R&D, including training, marketing strategies, literature development, and field adoption.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with design professionals, contractors, distributors, and other key decision makers.
  • Expand architectural, engineering, and contractor networks in major U.S. metro areas to drive new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with PLM to advance innovative products and system solutions within the CRS business.
  • Support resolution of product claims related to the CFS range.
  • Represent MAPEI at tradeshows and industry events to promote products and enhance brand awareness.
  • Actively participate in industry associations (ACI, DBIA, ICRI, etc.) to build credibility and expand influence.
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures and instructions as defined in our Quality Management System (QMS), Employee Handbook, Health and Safety manual, or any other instruction issued by the company.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • In this role, you will earn a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications.
  • This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is a variable percentage of your base salary, based on individual performance and company results.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in concrete construction, CFS systems, or related building materials.
  • Established relationships within AEC firms, contractors, owners, and industrial/commercial market segments.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to conduct hands-on demonstrations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Valid driver license.
  • Ability to travel regionally and nationally as needed.
