Outside Sales Manager to join our team in Phoenix, AZ.
This is a critical role for an individual ready to leverage their existing network and expertise to drive significant growth.
Key Responsibilities- National Account Development: Identify, cultivate, and close high-volume sales opportunities with diesel performance shops, specialty retailers, and transmission businesses nationwide.
- Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and maximizing long-term partnership value.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand market share and achieve ambitious revenue targets.
- Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and product needs within the diesel performance and transmission sectors.
- Product Expertise: Maintain a thorough understanding of Tier One's product line and be able to articulate the technical value proposition to sophisticated buyers.
- Travel: Significant travel (estimated 50%+) will be required to meet with clients, attend industry events, and cover the national territory.
Required Qualifications (Strictly Enforced)- 5+ years of verifiable, full-time experience in Business Development specifically selling products or services directly to diesel performance shops or diesel transmission businesses.
- Demonstrated History of Success: A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas and successfully building a national network of B2B customers within the diesel aftermarket industry.
- Existing Network: Must possess an extensive, current, and verifiable network of established relationships with decision-makers at diesel performance and/or transmission shops across the United States.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep, working knowledge of diesel engine components, transmission systems, and the competitive landscape of the diesel performance market (e.g., Ford Powerstroke, Dodge Cummins, GM Duramax).
- Self-Motivation & Drive: Highly self-disciplined, goal-oriented, and able to manage a national territory independently.
- Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Phoenix, AZ area.
Note: Candidates who do not meet the minimum requirement of
5+ years of experience building a national network within the diesel performance or transmission business sector will not be considered for this role.
