Based in Al Kabir Town Phase 2, we operate as a full-scale development warehouse focused on delivering quality digital services to international clients. Our Marketing and Business Development departments play a crucial role in expanding our global footprint through Upwork, LinkedIn, and direct outreach.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Business Development Manager to lead our Upwork and LinkedIn sales operations. This role involves managing BD teams, setting monthly sales targets, improving proposal quality, establishing workflows, and driving consistent business growth. The ideal candidate must understand freelance marketplaces, client acquisition strategies, and how to manage a motivated sales team.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Management

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor the Business Development Executives and Upwork Bidders.
  • Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure team productivity.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review progress and align goals.
  • Train new team members on bidding strategies and communication standards.

Upwork & LinkedIn Sales Management

  • Oversee the entire bidding process on Upwork, including proposal reviews, pricing strategy, and profile optimization.
  • Manage and guide outreach campaigns on LinkedIn to generate high-quality leads.
  • Develop winning strategies for proposal writing and client communication.
  • Monitor conversion rates and ensure consistent pipeline growth.

Business Strategy & Growth

  • Set monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets for the BD team.
  • Create performance-based KPIs for individuals and teams.
  • Identify new market opportunities, niches, and service verticals.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for management.

Client Communication & Deal Closing

  • Assist BD Executives in handling complex client conversations.
  • Join calls when necessary to support closing deals.
  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients.

Coordination with the Technical Team

  • Communicate client requirements clearly to the delivery and technical teams.
  • Ensure proposals match the technical capabilities of WordPress and Laravel teams.
  • Work closely with project managers to assure smooth onboarding of new clients.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Business Development, preferably in Upwork or LinkedIn lead generation.
  • Strong understanding of freelance marketplaces and sales pipelines.
  • Experience managing BD teams or leading sales operations.
  • Excellent English writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and optimize processes.
  • Strong negotiation skills and confidence in closing deals.
  • Ability to work on-site and collaborate with management and technical departments.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)

  • Experience in the IT or software development industry.
  • Familiarity with WordPress and Laravel service offerings.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools such as HubSpot, ClickUp, or Zoho.
