Job Summary
The Business Developer is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The role involves market research, lead generation, proposal preparation, and negotiation to expand the company’s customer base and market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research and networking
- Generate leads via cold calls, emails, meetings, and digital platforms
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Understand client requirements and propose suitable products/services
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations for prospects
- Conduct competitor and market analysis
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet sales targets
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Maintain records of sales activities in CRM systems
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings

Qualifications

- 2–5 years of experience in business development or sales (preferred)
- Experience in B2B sales is an advantage
