Job Purpose
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities within the health sector. The role focuses on expanding the company’s presence in healthcare through strategic partnerships, client acquisition, and tailored solutions. The ideal candidate must have
strong existing connections within hospitals, clinics, medical groups, and healthcare decision-makers
to drive rapid market penetration and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Expansion & Opportunity Development

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the
healthcare ecosystem
(hospitals, medical centers, insurance companies, labs, clinics).

Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with organizational goals.

Build a strong pipeline of prospects and ensure continuous lead generation.
2. Relationship Management

Leverage
strong personal and professional connections
within the health industry to establish high-value partnerships.

Maintain long-term relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, including CEOs, medical directors, procurement heads, and department managers.

Conduct regular meetings, presentations, and business reviews with potential clients.
3. Proposal Development & Negotiation

Prepare commercial proposals, tailored solutions, and service packages for healthcare clients.

Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract closures.

Ensure alignment between customer requirements and internal capabilities.
4. Collaboration & Internal Coordination

Work closely with Sales, Product, Operations, and Marketing teams to deliver client-centric solutions.

Coordinate with Finance and Legal to ensure compliance with commercial and regulatory requirements.

Support product teams with market insights to enhance offerings for healthcare customers.
5. Market Insights & Competitive Intelligence

Track healthcare trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings.

Provide recommendations for new services, partnerships, or product enhancements.

Represent the company at health industry events, exhibitions, and networking activities.
6. Reporting & Performance Tracking

Maintain accurate records of opportunities and activities through CRM tools.

Prepare weekly and monthly reports on pipeline, conversions, and key achievements.

Monitor revenue performance and ensure achievement of assigned targets.
Experience
-
3–6 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management.

Must have strong connections within the healthcare industry
(hospitals, insurance, medical networks, clinics).

Experience selling healthcare solutions, medical products, or ICT health solutions is an advantage.
