Role Overview
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will lead INTERNATIONAL PARTNER’s growth and market penetration across
Saudi universities, governmental bodies, and healthcare institutions
. The role focuses on establishing INTERNATIONAL PARTNER as the national benchmark for fitness, wellness, sports science, and clinical-upskilling certifications aligned with
Saudi Vision 2030
, the
Quality of Life Program
, and workforce development mandates.
The BDM will identify strategic opportunities, build high-level partnerships, and drive adoption of INTERNATIONAL PARTNER certifications, curricula integrations, academic licensing, continuing professional education programs, and wellness/clinical upskilling solutions within the Kingdom.
The position requires strong stakeholder engagement across higher education, ministries, regulatory bodies (SCFHS, TVTC, MoH, MoS), healthcare providers, and large-scale government initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Expansion & Strategic Growth

Identify, prioritize, and pursue business opportunities across universities, government institutions, and healthcare organizations.

Develop sector-specific growth strategies to expand INTERNATIONAL PARTNER adoption in academic programs, student certification pathways, and employee development tracks.

Conduct market intelligence to map:

Universities offering sports science, nutrition, EMS/paramedic, physiotherapy, and wellness programs.

Governmental initiatives linked to Vision 2030 workforce development and quality-of-life targets.

Healthcare providers seeking upskilling for physiotherapists, dietitians, rehabilitation teams, and wellness staff.

Identify gaps, competitor offerings, and emerging opportunities in the fitness, health, and wellness education ecosystem.
2. Government Relations & Public Sector Development
-
Build and nurture relationships with key Saudi government stakeholders including the Ministry of Sports, Ministry of Health, SCFHS, TVTC, Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), Quality of Life Program, and Vision Realization Offices.

Support regulatory and accreditation processes for INTERNATIONAL PARTNER programs.

Position INTERNATIONAL PARTNER as the preferred partner for national workforce development initiatives in sports, wellness, and preventive healthcare.
3. University Partnerships & Academic Integration

Engage Deans, Program Directors, and Department Heads to embed INTERNATIONAL PARTNER programs into:

Sports science & physical activity programs

Clinical nutrition & dietetics programs
-
EMS & paramedic programs
-
Rehabilitation & physiotherapy tracks

Develop proposals for academic licensing, student certification tracks, and joint academic-wellness initiatives.

Drive adoption of INTERNATIONAL PARTNER as a required or elective certification within university curricula.
4. Healthcare Sector Development

Build relationships with hospitals, rehabilitation centers, obesity clinics, and wellness programs across public and private sectors.

Promote INTERNATIONAL PARTNER certifications as part of:

Staff competency development
-
Health & wellness service expansion
-
Preventive care and patient lifestyle management

Coordinate with clinical leaders to tailor INTERNATIONAL PARTNER programs for physiotherapists, clinical nutritionists, and rehabilitation teams.
5. Sales & Revenue Growth

Develop proposals, commercial offers, and partnership packages tailored to each sector.

Own the end-to-end sales cycle: pitch, negotiate, close, and expand.

Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets across assigned segments.

Create multi-year partnership agreements with universities, ministries, and healthcare groups.
6. Strategy Execution & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with INTERNATIONAL PARTNER regional and global teams to align on products, pricing, marketing, and certifications.

Develop and execute sector-specific business plans, marketing campaigns, awareness activations, and academic engagement initiatives.

Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations to ensure smooth delivery of programs and solutions.
7. Reporting, Analytics & Market Intelligence

Track KPIs and report regularly on:

Pipeline development

Sales performance

Sector trends

Competitive activity

Provide insights to shape INTERNATIONAL PARTNER’s regional strategy, including new programs, localization needs, and expansion opportunities.

Prepare executive-level presentations for internal leadership and external government partners.
8. Client Success, Support & Relationship Management

Ensure exceptional follow-up, service, and relationship continuity with academic, government, and healthcare partners.

Address escalations and ensure high satisfaction for ongoing programs.

Collect customer feedback to guide continuous improvement of INTERNATIONAL PARTNER offerings.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
-
3–6 years of business development experience in Saudi Arabia, preferably within:

Higher education
-
Government sector
-
Healthcare, wellness, or medical education
-
Professional certification or training industries
-
Strong network within Saudi ministries, universities, and healthcare institutions.

Proven ability to open doors, negotiate high-value partnerships, and close deals.

Experience working within Vision 2030 transformation ecosystems.
Preferred

Background in sports science, fitness, wellness, nutrition, medical programs, or healthcare business development.
