We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Business Strategic Manager to lead our growth initiatives across Engineering, Sustainability, and Media domains. The ideal candidate will drive business expansion, build high-value partnerships, and identify new opportunities in rapidly evolving markets, with a focus on large-scale industrial, landscaping, and marine projects. This role combines commercial acumen with technical expertise and sustainability insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic business development plans and forecast sales targets & growth projections
- Identify new market opportunities through meetings, industry networking, digital outreach, and competitive analysis
- Meet existing and prospective clients, building long-term, positive relationships
- Organize business development meetings with potential clients and collaborate with technical teams for solution alignment
- Work closely with marketing, engineering, and operations teams to develop effective sales and market-entry strategies
- Prepare financial projections, sales forecasts, and market analysis reports
- Attend exhibitions, conferences, and industry events to enhance the company’s market visibility
- Prepare sales & pitch presentations for clients and participate in high-level meetings with senior management
- Produce detailed performance and pipeline reports for management review
- Coach, mentor, and provide training to business development and sales teams
- Lead end-to-end proposal development, including RFP/RFQ responses, project scope definitions, and cost estimations
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments in Engineering, Sustainability, and Media
- Develop strategic partnerships with vendors, consultants, and industry stakeholders
- Ensure CRM accuracy, sales reporting hygiene, and overall pipeline management
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to support sustainability-driven growth objectives
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- BSc/BA in Business Administration, Sales, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- Engineering degree with strong exposure to Business Development is highly preferred
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, or Strategic Manager in Engineering, Sustainability, or Media sectors
- Strong understanding of sustainability practices, green technologies, and industry standards
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale projects in industrial, landscaping, or marine sectors (experience limited to villas is not suitable)
- Proven sales track record with experience in B2B or enterprise-level business environments
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent telephone, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), and data analytics tools
- Strong strategic, analytical, and commercial thinking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for proposals, reports, and presentations
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with engineering, marketing, and project teams
- High level of initiative, decision-making capability, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Knowledge of digital media, branding strategies, and content-driven business development (added value)
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, events, and industry exhibitions
