Business Development Manager
to expand our service portfolio, develop new business opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and support the company’s long term growth strategy. This role involves identifying and developing opportunities across all services and solutions, optimizing business processes and developing a strategic vision to maintain our company's leadership position.
Responsibilities
Business Development & Growth Strategy

Responsible for increasing the company’s presence and market share, driving revenue growth across Mod Offshore’s service portfolio, and meeting or exceeding agreed sales and business development targets.

Lead proposal development, tender and RFP processes, and commercial negotiations.

Create and position new service offerings aligned with client needs and industry trends.

Contribute to the company’s growth road map by expanding service coverage and market reach.
Client & Stakeholder Management

Understand client needs and provide tailored service solutions.

Represent Mod Offshore in client meetings, technical discussions, and commercial presentations.

Strengthen customer relationships, enhance customer satisfaction and ensure long term collaboration.
Operational & Cross-Functional Coordination

Collaborate with Operations, Engineering and HR/Expat teams to ensure proposals are aligned with customer needs and operational capabilities.

Align commercial strategies with operational capabilities and service planning.

Support ongoing projects through commercial follow up and client communication.
Commercial Management & Reporting

Manage pricing, cost analysis, profitability assessments, and contract performance.

Prepare commercial forecasts and periodic sales reports for senior management.

Track market developments, competitor activities, and industry dynamics to inform strategic decisions.

Ensure contract terms, timelines, and commitments are followed and commercially optimized.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business administration (preferably Petroleum, Mechanical, Marine, Industrial Engineering).

Minimum of 10 years of experience in offshore, energy, oil & gas, or industrial services sectors.

Proven experience in business development, sales, or commercial operations.
Skills & Competencies

Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

Excellent communication and relationship building abilities.

Ability to lead tender and proposal processes end to end.

Individual who is self-motivated, capable of independent problem solving and multitasking,

Other Requirements

Willingness to travel for client meetings or occasional on site visits.

Previous upstream industry experience (preferably offshore) in National Oil Companies, National / International Service Companies, Original Equipment Manufacturers or Field Service Providers is a plus.
