Business Development Manager - Immediate Opportunity
The RiverSpring Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA) provides comprehensive and personalized home healthcare services for older adults to maximize their independence at home.
Overall Summary:
The Business Development Manager supports the growth and success of the Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA) by coordinating and implementing initiatives that drive private-pay, contract and overall referral development, enhance client, resident, and caregiver experience, and strengthen collaboration externally and across RiverSpring Living. The position promotes the agency’s value through relationship-building, sales outreach, and coordination of caregiver scheduling and engagement to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery aligned with organizational goals.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead sales outreach and relationship-building efforts to expand referral sources and grow private-pay volume.
- Oversee caregiver scheduling, engagement, and performance, including coaching, training, evaluations, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Monitor caregiver performance, client interactions, and satisfaction surveys to ensure customer excellence and adherence to RiverSpring standards.
- Engage clients, families, and internal partners to assess needs, present the agency’s value, and provide tailored service solutions.
- Analyze referral, utilization, and performance data to identify trends, forecast needs, and recommend strategies for growth and service excellence.
- Partner with leadership to translate insights into actionable plans that enhance caregiver utilization, client satisfaction, and financial performance.
- Provide caregivers with assignments, client details, schedules, and expectations to support consistent, high-quality service delivery.
- Communicate caregiver assignments and start-of-care details to RN Supervisors or Case Managers as appropriate.
- Utilize the agency’s scheduling system to document all staffing activities, updates, and changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in home care or related healthcare services.
- Proven skills in sales, marketing, and business development.
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data-tracking systems.
- Demonstrated sound judgment and strategic thinking with the ability to balance business growth and operational needs.
- Strong assessment skills to understand client, resident, and caregiver needs and align staffing and service solutions that support quality care and agency goals.
Compensation:
- Annual salary: $75,000 - $80,000
