We are seeking a
Business Development Manager
to drive growth and expand our client portfolio across
Lifestyle & Sport, Technology, and Cosmetics
sectors. Reporting directly to the
Logistics Operations Director
, this role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and delivering value-driven supply chain and logistics solutions tailored to fast-moving, consumer-centric industries.
The role is ideal for a commercially minded professional who thrives in dynamic markets, understands evolving customer expectations, and can translate business needs into scalable logistics and fulfillment solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing

Develop and execute
business development strategies
to grow Arvato’s presence within
Fashion/Tech/Cosmetics/Retail
sectors.

Identify, prospect, and engage
new clients and partners
, building a sustainable pipeline of opportunities.

Understand client business models and translate their commercial needs into
customized supply chain, fulfillment, distribution and value-added service solutions
.

Collaborate closely with internal teams (operations, solution design, IT, project management, finance) to ensure feasible, competitive, and scalable proposals.

Lead commercial discussions, prepare proposals, and conduct
contract negotiations
in line with profitability and service excellence goals.

Monitor market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity within target industries to proactively identify growth opportunities.

Support go-to-market initiatives tenders processes across assigned sectors.

Build long-term partnerships by acting as a trusted commercial advisor throughout the pre-sales and onboarding phases.

Represent
Arvato
at industry events, fairs, and client meetings.

Travel domestically and internationally as required.
What You’ll Bring
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).

Proven experience in
Business Development, Sales, or Commercial roles
, preferably within logistics, fulfillment, distribution, supply chain, e-commerce, or consumer-driven industries.

At least 6 years of experience in related fields.

Strong understanding of
Fashion/Tech/Cosmetics/Retail
market dynamics, including omnichannel, e-commerce, and customer experience expectations.

Solid commercial acumen with the ability to structure value-based proposals.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Strategic and analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

Fluent in English (both written and spoken); German is a plus.

Willingness to travel when needed.
