We are seeking an experienced Business Development & Client Relations Manager with a strong background in accounting and taxation consulting to drive growth, generate qualified leads, build long-term client relationships, and close new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will play a key role in expanding the firm’s client base and revenue through strategic sales initiatives and consultative client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify, generate, and qualify new business leads within accounting, taxation, and consulting services.
- Actively meet prospective clients, understand their business needs, and propose tailored solutions.
- Prepare and deliver professional proposals, presentations, and service offerings.
- Negotiate terms and close deals to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market presence and client portfolio.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across accounting, tax, and advisory services.
- Coordinate with internal accounting and tax teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.
Market & Industry Engagement
- Represent the company at networking events, business forums, and industry meetings.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulatory developments to identify new opportunities.
- Maintain accurate client and pipeline data in CRM systems.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in business development or client relations within an accounting, taxation, or professional services firm.
- Strong understanding of:
- Accounting services
- Taxation (corporate tax, VAT, compliance)
- Business advisory and consulting solutions
- Demonstrated success in lead generation, client acquisition, and deal closure.
- Existing client network is a strong advantage.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet targets in a fast-paced environment.
