Job Title: Government Infrastructure Sales Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Government Infrastructure Sales Manager to lead business development efforts within the public sector. This role focuses on selling infrastructure solutions—such as civil works, —to government agencies at the local, state, and national levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of public procurement processes, government contracting, and infrastructure project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting government infrastructure projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in government departments, public sector undertakings (PSUs), and regulatory bodies.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through RFPs, tenders, and direct engagements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, legal, finance) to prepare proposals, bids, and presentations.
  • Navigate complex procurement cycles and ensure compliance with government regulations and documentation.
  • Represent the company at industry events, government forums, and public-private partnership (PPP) discussions.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and policy changes affecting infrastructure investments.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree Engineering (Civil)
  • 5–10 years of experience in B2G (business-to-government) sales, preferably in infrastructure sectors.
  • Deep knowledge of government procurement processes, e-tendering platforms, and contract negotiation.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage long sales cycles.
  • Familiarity with PPP models, EPC contracts, or Smart City initiatives is a plus.
