Business Development Manager

We are working with a tier 1 architecture and design client to recruit a Business Development Manager for their recently opened Dubai office. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the next chapter of their work across the UAE and wider GCC.

The client is a globally renowned practice with a reputation for delivering world class architecture, urbanism, landscape, product, and interior design projects that transform ideas into spaces that improve how people live, work, and connect.

About the Role

As Business Development Manager, you will be a key part of the Dubai office, working closely with the Senior Partner and reporting to the Managing Director. You will lead project pursuits, cultivate client relationships, and identify opportunities where the practice's design vision can have real impact. The role sits at the intersection of strategy, relationships, and creativity, offering exposure to a variety of projects across sectors and typologies.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new opportunities across the UAE and wider GCC
• Lead multiple project pursuits from initial engagement to acquisition
• Build strong relationships with clients, developers, consultants, and collaborators
• Guide proposal and interview processes alongside the central Bid and Commercial Manager
• Develop compelling proposals, pitch decks, and presentations that communicate the practice's design vision
• Host and engage potential clients in the Dubai office with the Senior Partner
• Expand the practice's presence into new submarkets, regions, and disciplines
• Represent the practice at conferences and industry events shaping the future of cities
• Track market activity and maintain CRM systems with regular updates

Candidate Profile

• Curious about cities, people, and the forces shaping the built environment
• Experienced in leading conversations, building relationships, and communicating ideas persuasively
• Highly organized, strategic, and able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
• Understands the architecture project lifecycle, from vision to delivery

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
• 5+ years in business development or strategic roles within architecture, urban design, or the built environment in the GCC
• Strong understanding of GCC project procurement and delivery processes
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Microsoft Office, and CRM systems
• Fluency in English and Arabic
