About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to generate and manage revenue opportunities within a defined territory. This role combines new business development with account management and requires a strong ability to build relationships, understand customer operations, and position solutions that drive measurable value.

The BDM will collaborate across teams while maintaining an individual quota and will engage with executives, operators, and key stakeholders to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage prospective clients and develop new business opportunities
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of all customer interactions and pipeline activity
  • Build and maintain strong industry relationships and networks
  • Conduct outreach through calls, email, and in-person meetings
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy
  • Develop and manage pipeline forecasts and sales reporting
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and pricing strategies
  • Negotiate agreements and close new business deals
  • Manage existing accounts and drive cross-sell opportunities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients and resolve issues effectively
  • Deliver onboarding sessions and ensure successful implementation
  • Provide post-go-live support and identify process improvements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of business-to-business sales experience
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
