Business Development Manager

WE NEED

We’re looking to hire a Business Development Manager to join our team and take ownership of revenue growth within an assigned territory in the United States.

This role is based in the Northeast, ideally in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, or the Philadelphia, PA area.

This is a field-based, outside sales role focused on driving new business and expanding existing accounts across automotive dealerships, dealer groups, and OEM partners. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, building a strong pipeline through consistent prospecting and in-person engagement, and executing the full sales cycle from first conversation through to close.

You will spend the majority of your time in market. That means being inside dealerships, building relationships with decision makers, understanding their business, and positioning Absolute Results as a strategic partner. Success in this role comes from being visible, credible, and consistent.

This role requires a disciplined approach to pipeline management, strong follow-through, and the ability to consistently convert opportunities into revenue. You are expected to manage your territory like a business, balancing new account acquisition with growth and retention of existing clients.

We’re not looking for someone who waits for leads or relies on others to create momentum. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, builds their pipeline, stays close to their customers, and delivers results.

YOU HAVE

  • 3 to 7+ years of outside sales or business development experience
  • Automotive industry experience, ideally with dealerships, dealer groups, or OEMs
  • A proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills
  • Confidence in presenting, negotiating, and closing
  • A disciplined approach to pipeline management and forecasting
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Comfort using CRM systems and modern sales tools
  • Experience using AI tools in your day-to-day workflow
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly

Pay: From $105,000.00 per year
