About the Role
We are seeking a high-performing US-based, fully remote Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive new enterprise customer acquisition for Statseeker.
This is a pure hunter role focused on winning new business across large, complex, and regulated environments where network performance, scale, and reliability are mission-critical.
You will be responsible for building pipeline, engaging senior stakeholders, and closing enterprise deals across key verticals including healthcare, higher education, government, utilities, transport, and multi-site enterprise operations.
Target Markets (ICP Focus)
You will focus on enterprise organizations such as:
- Large Healthcare Systems & Hospital Networks
- Universities, Campuses & Research Institutions
- Federal, State, and Local Government / Regulated Infrastructure
- Utilities (Energy, Power, Water)
- Transport & Logistics Networks
- Large Multi-Site Retail & Distribution Organizations
These environments typically include:
- Highly distributed networks (thousands of devices)
- Mission-critical uptime requirements
- Regulatory or data sovereignty constraints
- Complex infrastructure across multiple locations
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise New Business Development
- Build and execute a targeted outbound strategy across ICP verticals
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified enterprise opportunities
- Identify high-value accounts and pursue strategic entry points
Full-Cycle Enterprise Sales
- Own the entire sales process: discovery → technical validation → proposal → close
- Navigate complex buying groups and multi-stakeholder environments
- Lead commercial negotiations and contract execution
Technical & Value-Based Selling
- Position Statseeker’s strengths in:
- High-scale performance and data collection
- On-prem / hybrid deployment advantages
- Cost efficiency vs legacy and SaaS tools
- Partner with technical teams for demos, POCs, and solution design
Market Development
- Build presence within key industries (events, partners, associations)
- Identify repeatable use cases within verticals
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing on vertical campaigns and messaging
- Coordinate with Customer Success for post-sale handoff
- Provide field feedback to Product and Leadership
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- 5+ years in enterprise B2B technology sales
- Proven success in new logo acquisition
- Experience selling into large, complex organizations
Industry / Domain Experience (Strongly Preferred)
- Healthcare, higher education, government, utilities, transport, or multi-site enterprise
- Infrastructure, networking, or monitoring solutions
Skills
- Strong outbound prospecting and pipeline generation
- Ability to sell to both technical buyers and executive stakeholders
- Experience managing long, complex enterprise sales cycles
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
Mindset
- Hunter mentality with high ownership of results
- Self-motivated and effective in a remote environment
- Strategic, but execution-focused
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of SNMP, NPM tools, or network infrastructure
- Experience with on-premise or hybrid software solutions
- Existing relationships in target verticals
